Seylou Bakery: First 2019 Member Meeting

CGA members and allies gathered on February the 5th to sample some amazing whole-grain breads and pastries at Seylou in Washington, DC. Both owner Jonathan and pastry chef Charbel shared their tips on using unusual grains like sorghum and millet to add flavor and reduce the amount of sugar in their cookies, pies, and other pastries.

The workshop was followed by a networking social, and we concluded with the first quarterly organization meeting of the year.
